DESCRIPTION:Join us at the library's D.C. Miller Law Office (behind the 
 library) for The Quill &amp\; Gavel Society\, a weekly writers' group t
 o connect with fellow writers\, gain motivation\, and improve your craft
 . Whether you are a beginner or old hand\, this is a supportive and prod
 uctive environment to share excerpts of your work and have scheduled wri
 ting time.  This is not primarily a critique group\; however\, you may 
 receive constructive feedback\, if wanted\, on excerpts from members of 
 the group. We welcome all genres and strive to create a consistent\, wel
 coming space for writers to grow* together. \n\nWe are limited in space
  to 5 people at this time\; please pre-register by emailing rachelg@scpl
 va.net to make sure we still have space.\n\nAges 18+.  Free.\n\nCurrent
