DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Marion Library for The Quill &amp\; Gavel S
 ociety\, a weekly writers' group to connect with fellow writers\, gain m
 otivation\, and improve your craft. Whether you are a beginner or old ha
 nd\, this is a supportive and productive environment to share excerpts o
 f your work and have scheduled writing time.  This is not primarily a c
 ritique group\; however\, you may receive constructive feedback\, if wan
 ted\, on excerpts from members of the group. We welcome all genres and s
 trive to create a consistent\, welcoming space for writers to grow* toge
 ther. \n\nWe are limited in space to 5 people at this time\; please pre
 -register by emailing rachelg@scplva.net to make sure we still have spac
 e.\n\nAges 18+.  Free.\n\nCurrently scheduled sessions: Wednesdays\, No
 vember 5th\, December 3rd &amp\; January 14th.\n\n(*Note:  We will NOT 
 be able to help you with your publishing efforts aside from possibly rec
 ommending a book resource for your research.  Any feedback received is
