 pm for an afternoon with Jordan Metzgar.\nJordan is the curator of Virgi
 nia Tech Massey Herbarium\, the largest plant museum in the state. He is
  a botanist specializing in ferns and botanical education. His lab recen
 tly published The Budding Forager's Guide to Edible Plants in Southwest 
 Virginia to help newcomers to foraging learn the basics of identifying a
 nd collecting edible plants. Jordan's presentation will cover some of th
 e basic terms and tools used in plant identification to help you begin e
 xploring the green world around you.\nThis program is free and open to t
 he public. Everyone is welcome.
