Author Talk on July 31
Virginia author Christy Landers Tallamy will share her debut novel, Sugarcane Saint, on Thursday, July 31 at 6:00 p.m. in the Copenhaver Room in the Main Library in Marion. Sugarcane Saint is the first in a planned Book of Ruth trilogy and examines the legacy of family secrets against the background of segregation in the American South. Originally from Georgia and now residing in Loudoun County, Virginia, Tallamy is a writer, composer, music educator, poet and essayist. She has also worked as a ghostwriter and earned several awards for her writing. Join us to hear a reading and discussion of this new historical novel.
