The Makery

SCPL’s new makerspace is called The Makery and offers patrons the opportunity to learn new skills and to explore new technologies to express their creativity.

What The Makery Offers

Using The Makery

There are specific policy and procedures documents available for review but the key things to know are:

• All users must have an SCPL card;
• All users must sign a user agreement/liability waiver;
• There is no fee to use the equipment;
• Some project materials are available for purchase at cost;
• Training is necessary for some equipment, classes will be offered;
• Access is limited to children aged 12 and above with a parent; children 16 and up can enter with an user agreement form signed by a parent.
