FrogWatch USA at the Saltville Library

Join a Hungry Mother Park volunteer from their chapter of FrogWatch USA for an educational night of frog fun.

Attendees will learn some frog identification basics for frogs and toads in our area.

There will also be information on how to join FrogWatch USA. This frog monitoring program has provided 26 years of data that assists scientists to understand the cause of frog and toad population changes and decline.

After the presentation, a FrogWatch USA volunteer will take us on a fieldtrip to the Saltville Wellfields, to experience this monitoring project in action.
