“Garden to Go” Program for Kids at Chilhowie Public Library

Join us at Chilhowie Library on Thursday, May 29th at 11:00am for our “Garden to Go” program for kids. This project is brought to the library courtesy of a grant through Virginia Cooperative Extension and the Family Nutrition Program. We will read a story, do some movement activities, and learn about planting and caring for vegetables. Each child will take home their own grow bag with free vegetable plants. This program is open to kids under 18. Space is limited and registration is required. Call the library at 276-646-3404 to register your child.
