Black History of Southwest Virginia
Smyth County has some important Black History including the Carnegie High School built in 1931 where Katherine Johnson used to teach.
The Main Library in Marion will close at noon on Wednesday, November 26 and all SCPL locations will be closed on Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28 for Thanksgiving.
