Free Drive-By Library Card Sign-Up Event at Chilhowie Elementary School

September is National Library Card Sign Up month! To celebrate, we are hosting a free library card sign-up event at Chilhowie Elementary School from 4-6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27th.

Any child in Smyth County 4 years or older can come by and register for a SCPL library card with an accompanying parent. Simply drive though the “Parent Pick-Up Loop” and show your driver’s license & a piece of mail to verify your address. We will be giving away free books and other goodies to all new patrons. Everyone is welcome!
