Free Kid’s Farmers Market in Chilhowie

Chilhowie Library will host a free kids farmer’s market in conjunction with Feeding Southwest Virginia on July 16th at 11:00am at the Chilhowie Farmer’s Market. Kid’s will be given “food bucks” to purchase fresh produce and learn about budgeting. This event is free and open to the public. Kid’s and teens under 18 are welcome to attend.

Feeding Southwest Virginia will also be onsite distributing free meals and a week’s worth of shelf stable food to kid’s under 18. For more information, call the library at 276-646-3404.
