MINDFUL JOURNALING (Tuesdays in May) – Week 4

The Marion Public Library is rolling out a continuation of its popular journaling series Tuesdays in May. We’re inviting you to find your inner zen at our Mindful Journaling class! Think of it as the ultimate mash-up: classic diary vibes meet “doodling in the margins” artistry. This isn’t just about putting pen to paper; it’s about giving your emotions—from wild excitement to total boredom—a safe space to just… exist.

MAHJONGG Mornings (Ages 18+)

Know how to play American-style Mahjongg? Join us at 10am at the Marion Public Library for a morning of this a fascinating rummy-like game, that combines skill and luck –played with tiles rather than cards. Table space is limited to 8 players, so be sure to email RachelG@scplva.net to let us know you are interested. We will provide the tile games and annual Mahjongg cards for use at the library (cannot be taken home) and even a snack to keep you going. FREE. Ages 18+. Don’t know how to play? We can teach you.
