Know how to play American-style Mahjongg?  Join us at 6pm on Wednesdays at the Marion Public Library for an evening of this a fascinating rummy-like game, that combines skill and luck –played with tiles rather than cards. Table space is limited to 8-12 players, so be sure to email rachelg@scplva.net to let us know you are interested.   We will provide the tile games and annual Mahjongg cards for use at the library (cannot be taken home) and even a snack to keep you going.  FREE.  Ages 18+

Craving calm & connection? Color your way to stress reduction at the library on Thursday, March 19th from 6 to 8pm! Join us for 2 hours of relaxing creativity and joyful connection. This month we will be exploring the Gnomes Coloring Book by Kayla Manteiga.  This book brings you face-to-face with all kinds of gnomes — each with its own quirky personality and style. You’ll find everything from garden-loving gnomes hiding among the flowers to adventurous ones exploring the mystical forests.  The backgrounds are more than just backdrops; they’re part of the gnome’s story. Whether it’s a cozy spot behind a toadstool or a sneaky peek from a leafy bush, these settings add a fun twist to your coloring. Ages 18+.  FREE.  Participation limited to 18.
