Inter-Library Loan (ILL)

Inter-library loans enable SCPL to borrow materials we don’t own from other libraries around the country to fulfill patron requests. ILL requests may have a charge (in addition to the shipping cost) from the lending library. The lending library will let us know the cost before it is shipped, and the patron will be contacted for approval. Patrons are required to pay the shipping cost to return the item to the lender. There is a limit of 3 active requests at a time.
