Learn to play MAHJONGG – Day 1 of 2 (Must take both days)

Learn to play Mahjongg at the Marion Public Library on December 8 & 9. You must pre-register for both days.

Mahjongg is a tile-based game that originated in China and is known for its strategic play and social interactions. The game involves four players (or sometimes three) who try to form winning hands by combining tiles and strategically discarding them. The basic objective is to create four sets of three tiles and one pair of matching tiles.  Join us for two-part classes at the Marion location of the Smyth County Public Library on Monday, December 8th and December 9th at 6pm both days.

YOU MUST REGISTER FOR BOTH DAYS.

This pair of classes is an introduction to American style Mahjongg for the brand new player.  This FREE class is limited to 8 people.

To pre-register, email rachelg@scplva.net.  You are not registered until you receive an email confirmation.

Dates Scheduled:

  • Monday, December 8th, 6pm
  • Tuesday, December 9th, 6pm
