Día de los Muertos FLOWER CROWN Workshop (Ages 18+)
🌼 Celebrate Life & Creativity: Día de los Muertos Flower Crown Workshop! 🎨
Get ready to immerse yourself in the vibrant, joyful colors of a beautiful tradition! Join us at the library on Tuesday, October 13th at 6pm for a lively, hands-on workshop dedicated to celebrating the rich history & traditions of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead).
Space is limited to 22 participants and PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
In this FREE workshop for adults (18+), we will discover the uplifting meanings behind one of the holiday’s most famous symbols — the flower crown. You’ll learn how the radiant cempasúchil (marigold) is believed to bring joy, light, and guidance to spirits during this festive time of remembrance. Then, we’ll dive into the fun part: crafting gorgeous, bright flower crowns featuring stunning marigolds and iconic golden rays!
Whether you want to wear your crown proudly, place it on a home ofrenda (altar), or give it as a beautiful tribute, this is the perfect evening to gather, learn, and create something spectacular together.
