Black: CREATING SCRATCHBOARD ZENTANGLES (Adult Summer Reading Craft)
For the 2025 Adult Summer Reading Program events, this year’s theme is “Color Our World”.
We invite you to embark on a journey of art & creativity, celebrating the many ways art enriches our lives. Our program is designed to inspire you through weekly color-concentrated events, learning & fun. It is Week 8, and we’re celebrating the end of the summer reading crafts with a complete absence of color — BLACK.
Join us on Thursday, July 31st from 6 to 8pm, upstairs in the Marion library, to create Zentangles® on scratchboard. Our scratchboard may be black, but it reveals all the colors of the rainbow when scratched. This fun craft will teach you a new meditative practice. No experience needed.
All materials provided FREE. Class limited to 20. Ages 18+
