HORROR MOVIE NIGHT: Screaming Skull (1958)
Join us on Thursday, March 26th @6pm for Horror Movie Night in the Copenhaver Room to watch “Screaming Skull”, a 1958 independently made American black-and-white horror film, produced by John Kneubuhl, T. Frank Woods, and John Coots, directed by Alex Nicol, starring John Hudson. The Screaming Skull concerns a neurotic newlywed woman who believes she is being haunted by the ghost of her new husband’s previous wife. (black and white, 1 hour 8 minutes) Box-office worthy snacks included. Ages 18+. FREE.
Plot Note: The films starts with scene of an opening coffin over which the narrator explains that the film’s climax is so terrifying –it may kill you. However, the audience is reassured that should they die of fright they will receive a free burial service. Inside the coffin is a card that reads “Reserved for You”.
So… horror AND comedy. 🤣
