HOOK and BOOK (Ages 18+)

Bring your current project and hang out among the stacks at Hook & Book! This casual fiber-arts social—our own local take on a classic stitch ‘n’ bitch—will take place on Monday, November 2nd, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Marion Public Library. The event is completely free and open to adults (ages 18+). There is no assigned reading, but feel free to pass along your book recommendations — one hooker to another.😜  Whether you knit, crochet, embroider, or spin, bring your current work-in-progress and enjoy some dedicated crafting time with fellow makers.

The vibe: Just a relaxed, social space to sit, stitch, and chat surrounded by books.

Cost: Completely free!

What to bring: Your own yarn, needles, hooks, etc. — whatever you need for your current project.

We’ll bring the hot tea and snacks!
